Among applicants meeting the required 11+ standard, the normal Year 7 order is looked-after/previously looked-after children, including adoption after overseas state care; Pupil Premium; siblings attending any Community Inclusive Trust secondary school at admission; then nearer homes. Premium means FSM registration at any time in the preceding 6 years, excluding statutory Key Stage 1 meals. The school writes to qualifying families to request FSM information and permission to verify it. Full brothers/sisters count even in separate homes; other children must normally share the household for most term time under a responsible adult. Straight-line distance is calculated by Lincolnshire Admissions to 3 decimal places between Post Office home and school address points. Distance resolves ties within earlier criteria; a remaining last-place tie uses a lottery drawn by someone independent of the school and the council Children’s Services Directorate. The ordinary home is where the child lives for most term time; evidenced equal shared residence allows parents to choose one address. Passing the test is not an application: apply through the home local authority too. The reserve list admits qualified children or those qualified on appeal, follows priority criteria rather than time on the list, and requires a request unless a higher preference has offered a place. The council keeps the intake list until the end of August, then the school maintains it at least through autumn; the policy also says names remain until offer or withdrawal. Qualified multiple births split by the criteria can be admitted above PAN unless this would prejudice other pupils’ education. Service/Crown families can apply before moving with official relocation/address evidence. No fixed catchment is defined.
