What is an 11+ consortium or shared test route?
It is an admissions route used by more than one school or coordinated by a local authority. School-specific exams are labelled separately in this directory.
How many verified 11+ routes are listed?
The current September 2027 release contains 17 verified consortium, shared-test, local-authority and school-specific routes.
Do schools in one consortium use identical admissions rules?
Not always. A shared test can coexist with different eligibility, score-sharing, catchment and oversubscription rules. Check both the route guide and each school guide.
