Eligibility

Girls applying for Year 7 must meet the common Lincolnshire Grammar Schools Consortium qualifying standard through the aggregate standardised score from the 11+ tests, then apply through their home Local Authority's coordinated admissions process. Sitting the test alone is not an application.

Score policy

Year 7 candidates sit verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning 11+ tests. The aggregate standardised score uses the common Lincolnshire qualifying standard intended to identify the top 25% of children by ability in grammar-school areas; the policy does not publish a fixed numeric 2027 threshold.

Oversubscription

If qualified applicants exceed the 108 places, priority is given first to a child with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or EHCP, then looked-after and previously looked-after children, Student Premium children, siblings, and children living nearest the school. The final tie-break is straight-line distance measured by Lincolnshire County Council software to three decimal places, followed by an independently conducted lottery if required.
