What score do you need for the Lincolnshire 11+?

Use Bourne’s policy to see how a minimum test score and oversubscription rules work together.

The answer

For September 2027 entry, the published qualifying score is 220. Read its scope and the allocation rules below.

Published figures and their scope

What does the 220 figure cover?

Bourne’s 2027 policy requires at least 220 in the Lincolnshire Consortium examination for normal Year 7 transition. The policy says consortium schools agree the minimum standard. Check your chosen school’s policy for its test and entry route.

Why a higher score is not the whole allocation rule

After its earlier priority categories, Bourne allocates 24 places by score among eligible applicants within 15 miles. Remaining places are allocated by distance. These are separate parts of Bourne’s policy, not rules for every Lincolnshire school.

What if the minimum is not met?

The school’s normal transition route requires the minimum standard. Its policy includes a separate appeals section. Read that process and the current school policy rather than treating a practice percentage as an alternative qualification.

Use practice to decide what to learn next

A percentage in a practice quiz shows how many of those questions your child answered correctly. It cannot be converted into an official age-standardised admissions score from this page.

Questions parents ask

Does qualifying guarantee a Lincolnshire school offer?

Read the school’s current allocation policy as well as the qualifying threshold. Historic offer figures describe a particular entry year and category; they do not predict your child’s result.
