Age-standardised STT verbal, non-verbal and mathematical scores are combined; 121 qualifies automatically. Lower-score places within PAN accept 115+, and up to 6 may accept 110-114 if unfilled.

Use the Year 7 map, not the separate Sixth Form catchment. Catchment-category applicants must have permanent continuous residence from 1 April 2026 and complete the supplementary form. Section 5 gives shared-residence and rental-evidence rules, with leases normally covering at least six months after entry. Retaining a former main home within 20 miles used after 1 September 2023 prevents a closer address qualifying, unless that former home is sold by 1 September 2026. Service/Crown-servant relocation evidence is due by 30 January 2027 for the first round. The residence rule starts in April, but the evidence sentence mentions September: confirm proof requirements with the school. Ask the admissions authority to check the full address; do not infer membership from a postcode.

After qualifying EHCP-named admissions, the order is looked-after or previously looked-after boys; catchment Pupil Premium boys; catchment siblings of Years 7-12 pupils; the limited score-concession category; qualifying staff sons; other catchment boys; outside-catchment siblings of Years 7-12 pupils; then others by distance. Normal qualification is 121 or a qualifying selection review/appeal. The concession reserves up to 12 catchment places for Pupil Premium or care-status boys scoring at least 115; if these are not filled, up to six of those 12 can go to eligible catchment boys scoring 110-114. Premium/care status is assessed at application. Staff need two years of school service at application and/or a demonstrable shortage post. The older sibling must attend at allocation and proposed entry, under the policy sibling definition. Within an oversubscribed category, independently evidenced medical/social needs that only this school can meet come first, then straight-line distance from the normal home to the Chesham Road main entrance; equal distances use independently supervised random allocation.
