Understand Buckinghamshire qualifying scores and school offers

Who gets priority

Published area: Chesham Grammar School published catchment.

Use the catchment map on the school website and ask Buckinghamshire Admissions to confirm the full address. Catchment categories require continuous residence from 1 September 2026. Section 16 includes evidence and previous-home rules; a postcode district alone cannot confirm eligibility.

After qualifying EHCP-named admissions, categories are looked-after or previously looked-after children; up to six catchment Pupil Premium places under the 110-120 score concession; qualifying catchment Pupil Premium children; siblings in Years 7 to 12; qualifying staff children; catchment residents; exceptional medical or social need; then distance. The concession requires Pupil Premium at application and no successful selection review. Catchment residence must be continuous from 1 September 2026. Sections 4 and 5 set the next-rule and straight-line-distance allocation rules, using the White Hill main entrance, with independently supervised random allocation for equal distances.
