A detective can solve a puzzle without knowing anything about the people, places, or objects. How? Every clue you need is already on the screen. Your job is to find the conclusion that MUST be true... and ignore everything the clues never said.
Think of each fact as a solid link. If every zorb is a mip, draw one circle inside another. Any zorb must sit inside the mip circle too. You may follow links that are definitely joined. You may not stretch them, reverse them, or invent a missing link. A conclusion earns a tick only if the facts leave no other possibility. If it could be true but could also be false, it is only a might. Here is the trap. A fact says, 'All red kites are swift.' It does NOT say all swift things are red kites. And it tells you nothing about whether real kites fly. Cover your world knowledge. Test only the exact words supplied.
Let's work through an example. Read every fact before choosing. Fact one: Every zorb is a mip. Fact two: No mip is a dax. Fact three: Tavi is a zorb. Which statement must be true? Option A: Tavi is a dax. Option B: Tavi is a mip. Option C: Every mip is a zorb. Option D: Tavi is blue. Start with Tavi. Fact three places Tavi in the zorb circle. Fact one says every zorb is inside the mip circle. So Tavi must also be a mip. Highlight option B. Now check the others. Option A clashes with fact two, because no mip is a dax. Option C reverses fact one; we were never told every mip is a zorb. Option D invents a colour. The answer is option B: Tavi is a mip.
Remember: build a chain from the stated facts, then choose only what MUST follow. No reversing. No guessing. No outside knowledge. Keep your logic locked to the clues, and you will crack these questions with confidence!
