Applicants normally born from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016 must sit the entrance test and achieve 334 or above, or receive a qualifying 334R outcome through the published review process.

Score policy

The age-standardised test covers verbal, non-verbal and mathematical questions. The qualifying score is 334; Pupil Premium applicants scoring 324 to 333 receive automatic review, and other applicants scoring 324 to 333 may use Local Review.

Oversubscription

Qualifying looked-after and previously looked-after children are followed by qualifying Pupil Premium or Service Premium applicants in catchment, siblings, other catchment applicants, qualifying premium applicants outside catchment, then other applicants by straight-line distance. Distance and supervised random allocation break remaining ties.
