Multiples of 4 up to 100
There are 25 multiples of 4 from 1 to 100: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96 and 100.
The multiples of 4 are all even, so they only ever land in the columns ending in 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
Patterns that help
The last digits go 4, 8, 2, 6, 0 and then repeat.
4 is even, so every multiple of 4 is even too.
A quick check: Look only at the last two digits. If they make a multiple of 4, the whole number is one. 316 ends in 16, and 16 is in the 4 times table, so 316 is a multiple of 4.
Building the list from facts you know: Double, then double again: 4 × 7 is double 14, which is 28.

12. It is the first number in both the 4 and the 6 times tables. After it, they meet every 12: 12, 24 and 36 are all multiples of both.
What is the 20th multiple of 4?
80, because 4 × 20 = 80. The 50th is 200 and the 100th is 400.
How many multiples of 4 are there up to 1000?
250. The biggest is 4 × 250 = 1000.
