Multiples of 12 up to 100

There are 8 multiples of 12 from 1 to 100: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84 and 96.

There are 8 multiples of 12 up to 100, so they are spread thinly across the square with 11 numbers between each one.

Patterns that help

The last digits go 2, 4, 6, 8, 0 and then repeat.

12 is even, so every multiple of 12 is even too.

A quick check: It must pass the check for 3 AND the check for 4, because 12 = 3 × 4. For 96, 9 + 6 = 15, a multiple of 3, and 96 is a multiple of 4 (4 × 24 = 96), so 96 is a multiple of 12.

Building the list from facts you know: Split 12 into 10 and 2: 12 × 7 is 70 + 14, which is 84.
